Description:

First there is the hole. Were there ever houses there? In the colorful working-class neighborhood, this has been the subject of speculation for years. Then, one day, a contemporary apartment complex rises, with lots of glass and aluminum. Eight residents move into the six residential units: an elderly couple with a vulnerable past, an engineer working on his dissertation on failed inventions, an unworldly musician with a special ambition, a journalist in relationship trouble, a woman who isolates herself out of dissatisfaction with her large breasts, and an academic couple where the husband soon calls meetings. Because strange things are happening in and around this building...
