Description:
Karina van Amerongen is one of the best performing lawyers at the prestigious Barrows & Banks on the Zuidas. The 24/7 economy suits her well: she is rarely alone with the grief of her deceased husband. Her precarious balance shifts when one day a real estate fund from the tourist world asks her not only for legal but also for spiritual advice. With a view to the influx of Asian tourists, the fund wants to create a unique selling point by offering locations with a positive energy. Karina has always managed to hide her interest in the immaterial world well, but now she takes action by accepting the request of this new client. In the meantime, her intern Oscar does not seem to be surprised by any New Age question, her opportunistic office colleague Robert tries to persuade her to have very pleasant drinks and managing partner Maurits tries to keep all the office colleagues on the same page. Can Karina maintain her position on the Zuidas or will she have to leave paradise?
