The book offers extensive information about the origins of television and the history of numerous programs. Facts about presenters and broadcasters, previously unpublished photos and many stories, trivia and anecdotes are also presented clearly. The book comes with a DVD with almost 3 hours of unique television fragments from the past 6 decades, compiled by Bert van der Veer and the Netherlands Institute for Sound and Vision. This DVD completes the overview of 60 years of television in the Netherlands.
